Clay Consulting is looking to hire Psychologists to perform one-time, in-person, Behavioral Health Examinations for veterans and active-duty military personnel. This is a part-time (16hrs/week) position.<br /><br />Summary<br /><br />At Clay Consulting you will apply your expertise in the evaluation and diagnosis of psychological health conditions. As a disability examiner, you gather and synthesize clinical evidence through medical and military record reviews, interviews with Veterans, and face-to-face examinations. You develop a medical opinion of the likelihood that the Veteran’s condition is related to their military service. The timely and expert examination assures that a Veteran’s claim is heard and dutifully processed by VBA.<br /><br />Essential Duties and Responsibilities:<br /><br />Conduct biopsychosocial exam of claimant<br />Conducts psychological, developmental, and cognitive-deficit assessments including but not limited to test administration and interpretation.<br />Prepares intake summaries and case summaries; maintains confidential records.<br />Charts claimants’ treatment and progress in accordance with state, federal, and facility regulations and guidelines and in keeping with accepted community standards.<br />Performs other related duties as assigned by management.<br /><br />Minimum Qualifications:<br /><br />Doctorate Degree in Psychology (Ph.D, PsyD)<br />Graduate of an APA accredited program<br />Active and unrestricted psychologist license in state<br />Knowledge of psychological testing techniques, administration, and interpretation
