Description
Mountain Community Health Partnership (MCHP) is seeking a full-time Certified Medical Assistant (CMA). The CMA will provide clinical, laboratory, and business office assistance under the supervision of the site coordinators, site director, physicians, mid-level practitioners, and nurse manager. The CMA acts as a liaison between patients and healthcare providers to maintain quality patient care. The CMA will serve in a float position and will be asked to work at any MCHP location, based on need.<br /><br />Key Responsibilities:<br />- Greet patients and verify information.<br />- Schedule appointments as needed.<br />- Maintain patient confidentiality.<br />- Collect and document patient data, including medical history and vital signs.<br />- Coordinate care by obtaining and tracking test results and consult records.<br />- Provide patient education and support.<br />- Participate in daily huddles and pre-planning for patient visits.<br /><br />Performance Standards:<br />- Patient Satisfaction<br />- Teamwork<br />- Problem Solving<br />- Personal Development<br /><br />Qualifications:<br />- CMA (AAMA) certification and current BLS certification.<br />- Prior experience preferred, not required.<br />- Proficiency in computer skills.<br />- Exceptional interpersonal skills.<br />- Ability to work and problem solve in stressful situations.<br /><br />- Bilingual preferred.<br /><br />Benefits:<br />- 401(k)<br />- Employer Paid Health Insurance<br />- Life Insurance; Group and Voluntary<br />- Paid Time Off
