Join us and make a meaningful difference in our patients' lives through compassionate care and professional excellence!<br /><br />*Responsibilities*<br /><br />* Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments, ensuring patient comfort and safety.<br />* Perform thorough Scaling and Root Planing for periodontal patients<br />* Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, vital signs, and current dental conditions to inform treatment plans.<br />* Take and interpret dental imaging such as X-rays and intra-oral photos while co-diagnosing with the dentist.<br />* Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to foster long-term health habits.<br />* Maintain accurate and detailed medical records using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems, while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.<br />* Support the dental team with documentation review and ensuring all procedures align with current dental terminology standards.<br /><br />*Experience*<br /><br />* Demonstrated understanding of infection control procedures, aseptic techniques, and sterilization processes.<br />* Strong grasp of dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and medical terminology relevant to dental care.<br />* Experience with general dentistry procedures, patient care protocols, and medical records management is essential.<br />* Valid state licensure as a Dental Hygienist is required.
