Description

*Pediatric Occupational Therapist (OTR/L)*

Full-Time or Part-Time | Raleigh, NC and Knightdale Offices

*Join a Collaborative Pediatric Team That Values Its Clinicians*

Abilitations Children's Therapy is a therapist-owned, multidisciplinary pediatric practice serving the Greater Triangle area since 2008. Our mission is to provide exceptional, evidence-based care to infants, children, adolescents, and young adults while fostering a collaborative and supportive environment for our clinicians.

In today's rapidly changing healthcare landscape, we believe clinicians deserve stability, flexibility, and the resources needed to provide outstanding patient care. We offer salary-based positions and a true team approach where Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Speech-Language Pathologists work together to achieve the best outcomes for every child.

Our state-of-the-art clinics are designed to support innovative pediatric therapy and include:

* Large sensory gyms with specialized pediatric equipment
* An integrated feeding team consisting of Occupational Therapists and Speech-Language Pathologists, with Physical Therapy consultation for positioning and postural support
* LiteGait® mobility systems at each clinic to support gait and mobility training
* A collaborative culture focused on mentorship, continuing education, and clinical excellence

We invest in our clinicians because we know that supporting our team ultimately benefits the children and families we serve.

*Clinician-Centered Compensation*

We believe clinicians perform their best when they feel supported—not pressured. Our compensation model is built around a *guaranteed base salary*, providing financial stability. This starting salary is *not dependent on meeting productivity expectations* and is not based on a per-patient or fee-for-service model. Starting salary is your base pay (guarenteed) plus weekly bonuses possible.

Clinicians are expected to meet established productivity benchmarks that align with industry standards. However, our structure is designed to reduce the pressure often associated with productivity-based models by ensuring your base compensation remains secure regardless of short-term fluctuations.

We utilize productivity benchmarks to recognize exceptional performance—not to determine your base compensation. Clinicians who exceed weekly productivity goals are rewarded with *additional performance bonuses and paid time off incentives*, allowing them to increase their overall compensation while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.

Our approach balances accountability with support—providing a stable salary, clear expectations, and meaningful incentives for those who go above and beyond.

*Current Opportunity*

We are currently seeking a full-time or part-time Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our growing team, with a preference for a full-time position.

Competitive salary and market-value sign-on bonus available.

*Responsibilities*

* Evaluate infants, children, adolescents, and young adults with developmental, neurological, orthopedic, sensory processing, feeding, and fine motor needs
* Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans designed to maximize each child's independence and participation in meaningful daily activities
* Provide occupational therapy services in a collaborative outpatient pediatric setting
* Address areas including fine motor development, visual-motor integration, sensory processing, self-care skills, upper extremity function, feeding, and adaptive equipment recommendations as appropriate
* Collaborate with Physical Therapists, Speech-Language Pathologists, physicians, educators, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care
* Educate caregivers through home programs and family-centered intervention strategies
* Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

*Qualifications*

* Master’s or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
* Current North Carolina Occupational Therapy license (or eligible for licensure)
* Pediatric experience is preferred, but motivated new graduates are encouraged to apply
* Strong clinical reasoning, evaluation, and treatment planning skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Passion for working with children and collaborating within a multidisciplinary team

*Why Join Abilitations Children's Therapy?*

* Therapist-owned and therapist-led organization
* *Guaranteed salary-based compensation*
* Flexible scheduling
* Supportive productivity model with industry-standard expectations
* *Performance bonuses and additional PTO for exceeding productivity goals*
* Collaborative multidisciplinary team
* State-of-the-art pediatric facilities
* Mentorship for new graduates
* Continuing education support
* Opportunities for professional growth and leadership
* A culture centered on teamwork, clinical excellence, and improving the lives of children and families

If you're looking for a practice where your expertise is valued, your professional growth is supported, and collaboration is part of everyday care, we’d love to meet you.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $68,000.00 per year

Benefits:
* 401(k)
* 401(k) matching
* Continuing education credits
* Dental insurance
* Flexible schedule
* Health insurance
* License reimbursement
* Life insurance
* Mileage reimbursement
* Paid time off
* Vision insurance

Work Location: In person
