As a patient care assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting patient care within the department. your primary responsibility will be to assist in patient transport tasks and ensure the smooth functioning of daily operations to enhance the quality of patient care.
Key responsibilities:
Accompany, transport, and transfer patients and patient-related items as necessary, ensuring their safety and comfort.
Maintain professional telephone etiquette and seek assistance when required.
Report incidents or concerns following the established chain of command.
Adhere to the employee code of conduct and maintain confidentiality at all times.
Flexibly cover other assigned zones as needed.
Promote a safe environment and patient care culture by identifying and addressing areas of risk.
Contribute to patient satisfaction by responding promptly to requests.
Follow all hospital policies and procedures.
Participate in education, training, and development activities as applicable.
Perform any other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Intermediate school education is required.
