JOB SUMMARY:
In this role you will perform data quality processes, measurements, and analyses to assess patterns, identify root cause, define data quality rules. Other responsibilities will include delivering status updates on data quality, following standards, policies, and processes, coordinating data remediation plans where data fails to meet required standard by working with business owners and IT.
JOB ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Work with source systems and downstream data consumers to apply advanced data quality techniques through automation to remediate issues, and implement processes to monitor data quality risks
2. Analyze data quality results as appropriate
3. Measure and audit large volumes of data for quality issues and improvements.
4. Perform root cause analysis of data anomalies as required
5. Implement data quality rules, automated measurement / monitoring, proactive data quality assessment and identification of improvement opportunities.
6. Participate in the application, deployment, and continued enforcement of Data Quality Management (DQM) processes.
7. Collaborate, coordinate, and communicate across disciplines and departments.
8. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and requirements.
9. Demonstrate Company’s Core Competencies and values held within.
10. Please note due to the exposure of PHI sensitive data – this role is considered to be a High Risk and Privileged Role.

JOB SCOPE:
Works independently to review and analyze data using technical tools such as SQL. Responsible for generating Universal Data Specification for all products.

JOB REQUIREMENTS (Education, Experience, and Training):

Minimum high school diploma or GED coupled with at least eight (8) years of direct experience in data analysis.
At least five (5) years’ experience of doing health care data quality analysis, root cause investigations, and remediation (not application testing).
At least three (3) years’ experience working with data tools such as SQL
Experience and working knowledge of data in a healthcare data management environment.
Data management background who understands data, data ingestion, proper use/consumption, data quality, and stewardship.
Advanced computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Excel
Required licensures, professional certifications, and/or Board certifications as applicable
Individual in this position must be able to work in a standard office environment which requires sitting and viewing monitor(s) for extended periods of time, operating standard office equipment such as, but not limited to, a keyboard, copier, and telephone

COMPENSATION

The salary range for this position is $85-90K. Specific offers take into account a candidate’s education, experience and skills, as well as the candidate’s work location and internal equity. This position is also eligible for health insurance, 401k and bonus opportunity.
