Mindset assists those with a mental illness to apply for Social Security benefits – SSI and SSDI.
Mindset is seeking to hire a case manager to join our operations team. This candidate will manage the case of claimants whose applications have been submitted to the SSA.
Mandatory:
Worked as a case manager at a Social Security Disability law firm or at the SSA.
Successfully assisted in collecting information and submitting applications for Social Security benefits on behalf of a claimant
Highly organized with the ability to multitask
Experience with modern digital tools such as Slack and Google Drive
About The Job:
2+ years minimum as in a case manager or operational role at a Social Security Disability firm or the SSA.
Guide claimants through an online portal to collect their information.
Call SSA to follow up on inbound mail requests and tasks.
Update claimants profile with new medical or contact info relevant to their claim.
Submit Social Security Disability initial applications
Contact claimants for needed documents after they have signed their fee agreement and other supporting documents.
Full-time position: 8 hours per day, 5 days a week
