Our client is a leading international Insurance group with diverse business activities and a solid growth strategy in place in Asia. One of the core pillars of the Group is to grow and develop the Health products and services line. As part of the Group’s commitment to expand this business, it is now seeking high-calibre Strategy Consultant to join the Group Health Strategy team, based in Hong Kong.
The key responsibilities for this position are as follows:
Develop and formulate strategies and development plans, perform strategic analysis and build business cases at group, regional, country and business level across the Health business
Lead or execute strategic projects related to growth strategies, new markets entry, partnerships, distribution strategy, new customer segment development, new and existing products development and entries.
Identify inorganic growth targets / opportunities and assist in strategic and commercial due diligence activities for transactions, M&A, JV or partnerships in the Health sector
Conduct research and build framework to capture market trends, industry insights and competitive landscape, analyze the impact on the business and growth
Recommend strategic initiatives and articulate ideas into execution priorities and action plans.
Perform financial analysis, modelling, data gathering.
Work with Customer, Product and Marketing teams to take a proactive role in identifying new customer segment or product segment with the group’s strategic goals in the various markets
Act as a partner to Technology teams and external vendors to build and deliver the digital health capabilities
Develop presentations for management, support in strategic planning deliverables and timelines for Management Committees and the Board at Group level
Successful applicants will have the following skills and experience:
An university degree
Around 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in Corporate Strategy, Business Strategy, Strategy Consulting gained from Health / Healthcare, Health / Medical Insurance and / or Strategy Consulting firms with exposure to Healthcare sector
Some knowledge and experience in the Healthcare sector, ideally worked with projects related to hospital group, GP clinics, outpatient services, special care clinics, etc.
Projects experience across Asian markets
Ability to run multiple projects simultaneously.
Advanced skills in PowerPoint, Excel and other presentation tools.
Excellent presentation and communication skills in English
