Patient Access Representative Jobs in Saint Petersburg, FL at Women’s Care

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Welcomes patients to the facility; serves as primary point of contact for patients and visitors.
Comforts patients by answering preliminary non-medical questions, anticipating their anxieties and maintaining the reception area.
Schedule appointments in person or by phone.
Perform patient check-in/check-out procedures.
Collect co-pays when applicable.
Act as liaison between clinical staff and patients.
Verify patient benefits
Represents clinic in a professional manner. Treats all customers, internal and external, in a courteous and cooperative manner.
Performs other duties as assigned.

· Attends required meetings and participates in team activities and professional development activities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· High school diploma or equivalent.

· Minimum one year clerical experience in a medical office environment.

· Ability to multi-task in a stressful deadline-oriented environment.

· Ability to communicate with coworkers, providers and patients in an effective manner.

· Ability to use a computer and enter data in electronic medical record system.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $16.50 per hour
