Join our team!Actalent is currently looking for a Patient Access Coordinator to join our team in the North Houston area!
Description:
Work with 2-3 different EMR systems
Check in and check out patients
Verification of date of birth and insurance
Collect payment (credit card/check)
Create appointments for patients checking out
Contact patients for “no-shows” or rescheduling appointments
Send out dictated letters from doctor via email to patients
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
1+ years of experience in the healthcare industry
Experience with EMR/EHR Systems preferred
High level of customer service skills
Flexibility to travel to nearby clinics as needed
