Responsibiliites
Direct purchasing and organizational functions for the facility in order to achieve efficient operations.
Reviews department purchase requests to ensure that information is entered regarding items to be purchased and reviews current inventory to confirm reorder level has been reached.
Reviews purchase orders and verifies prices and specifications.
Prepares purchase orders and forwards to vendors.
Matches receiving slips with purchase orders and forwards to Accounts Payable once complete.
Works to ensure that accurate inventory records are maintained and supplies are ordered correctly.
Qualifications
High School graduate or GED
CNA certification highly desired
Proficient with Microsoft Office products and general PC navigation and operation.
Minimum two (2) years experience in a health care purchasing or supply setting.
